We do not collect:

• Photos, videos, or other media
• Contacts or calendar information
• Financial or payment information
• Health or fitness data
• Browsing history or search queries

2.2 Gameplay Data (Local Storage Only)

The following data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Game Progress: Your current game state, scores, and achievements
• Statistics: High scores, games played, total merges, and best merge values
• Settings: Your preferences for sound, haptics, and visual themes
• Column Usage Data: Heat map data showing your gameplay patterns

This data remains on your device unless you choose to sync with Game Center (see Section 2.3).

2.3 Game Center Integration

If you choose to connect to Apple's Game Center, the following data is shared with Apple:

• Your high scores and leaderboard rankings
• Achievement progress and unlocked achievements
• Your Game Center profile information (managed by Apple)

Game Center integration is entirely optional. You control whether to sign in to Game Center through your device settings. Apple's Game Center is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

2.4 Analytics Data

We collect anonymous, non-identifying analytics data through Firebase Analytics to improve the game experience:

• Gameplay Events: Actions like merges, game starts, game overs (no personal data attached)
• Session Information: How long you play and which features you use
• Technical Data: Device type, OS version, app version, crashes and performance metrics
• Engagement Metrics: Screen views, button taps, settings changes

This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally. It helps us understand which features players enjoy and where we can improve the game.

3. How We Use Information

The limited data we collect is used solely to:

• Provide and maintain the game functionality
• Save your progress and preferences locally on your device
• Improve game performance and fix bugs
• Understand which features players enjoy most
• Optimize the gaming experience across different devices

We never:

• Sell your data to third parties
• Use your data for advertising targeting
• Share your data with other companies (except Apple Game Center if you opt in)
• Track you across other apps or websites

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Local Storage

Your game data is stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults and secure local storage mechanisms. This data is protected by your device's security features and is only accessible by the Tilefusion app.

4.2 Cloud Storage (Game Center Only)

If you enable Game Center, your scores and achievements are stored in Apple's iCloud infrastructure. Apple implements industry-standard security measures to protect this data.

4.3 Analytics Storage

Anonymous analytics data is processed and stored by Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) in accordance with Firebase's Privacy Policy. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

5. Children's Privacy

Tilefusion is designed to be appropriate for all ages, including children. We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide.

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children
• We do not use behavioral tracking or profiling
• Game Center integration requires parental approval through iOS Family Sharing

6. Third-Party Services

Tilefusion integrates with the following third-party services:

6.1 Apple Game Center

Optional integration for leaderboards and achievements. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

6.2 Firebase Analytics (Google)

Used for anonymous analytics to improve the game. Governed by Firebase's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not use any advertising networks, social media integrations, or other third-party tracking services.

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Data Access and Deletion

You have the right to:

• View Your Data: All your game data is visible within the app's Settings screen
• Delete Your Data: Use the "Reset All Data" option in Settings to permanently delete all local game data
• Export Your Data: Game Center data can be accessed through your Apple ID settings

7.2 Analytics Opt-Out

While our analytics are anonymous, you can limit analytics tracking by:

• Enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" in iOS Settings → Privacy → Advertising
• Disabling analytics in iOS Settings → Privacy → Analytics & Improvements

7.3 Game Center Opt-Out

You can disconnect from Game Center at any time through:

• iOS Settings → Game Center → Sign Out
• This will stop syncing your scores but preserve your local game data

8. Data Retention

• Local Game Data: Retained on your device until you delete the app or reset the data
• Game Center Data: Retained by Apple according to their policies
• Analytics Data: Retained by Firebase for up to 14 months, then automatically deleted

9. International Users

Tilefusion is available worldwide. Your data is processed as follows:

• Local Data: Remains on your device in your region
• Game Center: Stored in Apple's iCloud servers, which may be located in various regions
• Analytics: Processed by Firebase/Google Cloud Platform servers worldwide

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we comply with GDPR requirements. For California residents, we comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes:

• We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
• Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
